 Slovenska univerzitetna športna zveza (SUSA) je v
sodelovanju s Smučarskim klubom Branik v soboto, 21. januarja in v
nedeljo, 22. januarja, na Snežnem stadionu v Mariboru načrtovala
organizacijo mednarodnega FIS tekmovanja v alpskem smučanju v slalomu
ter v veleslalomu za študente in študentke, vendar je tekmovanje zaradi
premajhnega števila prijavljenih ODPOVEDANO.

University Sports Association as the organiser of the FIS University
Race in Alpine Skiing (SL, GS) in Maribor from January 21-22, 2006,
regrets to inform you that the race had to be cancelled.
Until today, we have not received sufficient number of applications and
we have no reasonable hopes that the number of participating countries
and students would substantially increase.
Since the race was planned to be organised in one of the most the
popular Slovenian ski resorts during peak season, the organiser would
confront with too high penalty costs for accommodation and other costs
in case the decision is taken later.
We hope we meet in Slovenia on some other occasion.
